Another year, another successful AGM! Your new executive, headed by incoming President Braedan de Bakker, will consist of Directors Matthew Antonitti, Claire MacDonald, Nick Drain, Cheryl Wee, Jordyn Ham, and Liz Tuomi.
Members also passed constitutional amendments to raise the price of a membership to $10.00 from $5.00, and merged duplicate sections on club committees. The OPCCA DSM also took place, with 10 delegates and 3 alternates chosen.

This serves as your formal notice for the Carleton Conservatives executive elections. It’s that time of year again! Executive elections for the Carleton’s Conservatives will officially be held on Thursday, April 4th, 2019 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM in Room 303, Southam Hall at Carleton University.
The following positions will be open:
To run for election, you must submit your nomination by filling out this Google Form.
Nominations must be received by 11:59PM on March 27th. After this date, you will receive an email confirming a list of nominated candidates. The campaign period for this election will run from March 28th (after verification of candidates) until voting on April 4th.
Please note that Kieran Moloney will act as the returning officer for the elections. A party representative will oversee the ballot process and voting.
Eligible voters will consist of anyone who has purchased a $5 membership this year. Memberships can be purchased on the day of the election.

Our byelection was a smash hit success! In our admittedly cozy venue, 51 conservatives cast ballots for their new First Year Representative and Director of Recruitment, and heard some great speeches from the Hon. Merillee Fullerton, MPP, Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities, the Hon. Pierre Poilievre MP, Official Opposition Shadow Minister for Finance, Jeremy Roberts, MPP, Pierre Lemieux, and Mike Lalonde.

Constitutional amendments will only be accepted up until January 10th at 11:59PM, as our current Constitution requires that we provide an agenda to all members two weeks prior to the meeting. Please note that only paid members are eligible to vote on changes to our Constitution.
The Constitutional Session will take place Thursday, January 25th at 6:00 p.m. The location is room 314 in the University Centre.

Kasandra and Alex were elected last night, filling the last two vacancies in the club executive.
